ECI reaches great heights in Brisbane whilst doing its bit for the environment
Exhaust Control Industries’ latest exhaust and NOx abatement system installation at 111 Eagle St, Brisbane, delivers leading edge emissions reductions technology to Brisbane, reducing exhaust gas emissions by 90 percent!
Lee Gunn, ECI’s State Sales & Project Manager, led the installation team of skilled tradesmen to install a complete exhaust system for two stand-by diesel gen sets and a 1MW gas Tri-generation system with the latest NOx Abatement system and Natural Gas Oxidation Catalyst. The roof top installation is a staggering 190m above Eagle St Pier in Brisbane, Queensland.
Incorporated into the Tri-gen exhaust system is an ECI SCR NOx Abatement system, which is designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the gas engine by 90%. This technology works hand in hand with the buildings Sustainable Design features to create the lowest possible carbon footprint while generating its own electricity, heating and cooling in a commercial office building.
ECI also designed, manufactured and installed the acoustic silencers required to meet stringent noise levels for the project. These acoustic measures are also in line with the low environmental impact strategy for the building.
